Community-Integrated Education.
Community-Integrated Education (CIE) strengthens the connection between academic learning, professional practice, and community engagement. Through partnerships with nonprofit organizations, civic agencies, and community partners, CIE creates opportunities for students to apply their knowledge to authentic challenges while contributing meaningful work beyond the classroom.
CIE Committee Chair
My involvement has grown from integrating CIE into my courses to providing institutional leadership as CIE Committee Chair, supporting faculty engagement, strengthening community partnerships, and helping expand experiential learning opportunities across the College.
